Next Steps After You Apply for Financial Aid

After submitting your FAFSA or CADAA, some students may be required to complete additional financial aid tasks to complete their financial aid application. If you need to submit additional tasks, you will receive a notice via your SBVC email

Most required documents can be filled out electronically through Student Forms (Campus Logic). Click below to submit additional financial aid tasks.

Notification of Your Award

  • All student files are processed in date order, based on the date the last document was received; processing may take up to of 6-8 weeks. During our peak processing periods, typically during the beginning of each term, please allow an additional 1-3 weeks for documents to be reviewed and processed. 
  • After a student’s file is processed, eligible awards are entered onto the Financial Aid Award/Offer Letter. 
  • You receive an award letter notification in your student email. You can also view your current Offer Letter by logging into SelfService
  • Only refer to Award/Offer Letters after all tasks and necessary documents are submitted.
