  • Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)  -- The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Programs (CFDA) is a government-wide compendium of all 1,479 Federal programs, projects, services, and activities that provide assistance or benefits to the American public. These programs provide grants, loans, loan guarantees, services, information, scholarships, training, insurance, etc., to millions of Americans every day.
  • FedBizOpps -- Federal Business Opportunities. Federal government procurement opportunities over $25,000
  • Federally Funded R&D Centers Master Government List
  • The Foundation Center -- Your gateway to philanthropy on the World Wide Web.
  • Grants and Fellowship Information -- from the EPA.
  • GRANTS.GOV -- This is the electronic grant submission portal for over 900 grant programs of federal grant-making agencies.  You can search for grant opportunities here as well as register for notification of grant opportunities.
  • Guide to Non-Profit Career Opportunities -- A guidebook created for students and young professionals seeking careers in the non-profit sector. Guidebook includes details on specific fields, organizations, and job titles with strong connections to non-profit work, and much more.
  • Guide to Public Service Careers -- Expert-driven guide to public service careers and volunteer opportunities.  This site helps students and professional better understand the many public service areas of employment, including how to get started through volunteer opportunities.
  • Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS)  -- A funding and research service which provides information on federal and private funding opportunities in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Search the database by criteria such as sponsor, deadline date, and keyword. (Note to SBVC faculty and staff: You can access this site from any campus computer. Once you are on the site, click on upcoming deadlines in the left sidebar. Please don't sign up for a free subscription, as we already have a subscription.)
  • Institute of Museum and Library Services: information for Grant Applicants
  • Justice - Bureau of Justice Assistance  -- This site provides grants that support law enforcement, courts, corrections, and other areas in the criminal justice system.
  • Kirsch Foundation -- Grant Programs: Environmental grants, Political Reform and Global Theme grants, and Silicon Valley Community grants.
  • MOLIS: Minority On-Line Information Service
  • National Science Foundation -- This federal agency to funds grants related to science, mathematics, and engineering technology. Programs for undergraduate education include the ATE and TUES. Advanced Technological Education Program (ATE) This program has an emphasis on two-year colleges and supports programs that focus on the education of technicians for high technology fields. Transforming Undergraduate Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (TUES). This program, previously called CCLI, supports efforts to create, adapt, and disseminate new learning materials and teaching strategies to reflect advances both in STEM disciplines and in what is known about teaching and learning.
  • San Bernardino County Grants Office -- The site will keep you informed about the current resources available and provide access to information and useful networks.
  • US Dept. of Health and Human Service, Health Resources Services Administration -- This federal office funds grants to improve health and allied health education programs.
  • U.S. Department of Education, FIPSE -- This link takes you to the Fund for the Improvement of Secondary Education program, the Comprehensive Program.  FIPSE MOBIS provides descriptions of past FIPSE grants.
  • U.S. Department of Education, Title III Strengthening Institutions Program -- This program helps eligible Institutions of Higher Education to become self-sufficient and expand their capacity to serve low-income students by providing funds to improve and strengthen the academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability of eligible institutions.
  • U.S. Department of Education Trio Programs -- The link takes you to descriptions of eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
  • U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration -- This federal office funds workforce development grants.
  • USA.gov for Nonprofits -- A network of links to Federal government information and services.
