Arts & Humanities Division Student Fund
The Arts & Humanities Division Student Fund will support students exploring areas in the Arts & Humanities. This fund will support students looking to explore and/or experience areas in the Arts & Humanities where funds may fall short, covering but not limited to field trips, conferences, workshops/classes, student travel expenses, just to name a few.
The Professor Joel Lamore Memorial Scholarship
Joel Lamore was a respected and beloved professor of English for nearly 30 years at Valley College. He passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2024. He was very dedicated to helping all students, especially those who were struggling. He served on the Scholarship Committee, mentored transferring students, and helped honors students who were giving papers at conferences. He always made himself available to students in office hours and attended all scholarship and graduation ceremonies. He will be missed.
